I used photography to alter your perception of her dance, enabling you to see things in this moment that were not visible in the same way before. Similarly, as individuals, we embody more than can be detected in one glance. We may appear to be static, when we are in fact evolving creatures. The human experience resides in that space of change, of fluidity. The spiral of her midsection represents this evolution, this becoming. |
